Jacques Benkoski

Jacques Benkoski is a General Partner at U.S. Venture Partners, where the firm has invested $4.3 billion across more than 500 startups. He focuses on cloud software and cybersecurity investments and brings broad experience working through IPOs and M&A for both small and large firms.

Previously, Jacques was President and CEO of Monterey Design Systems until its acquisition by Synopsys. He has held executive positions across Europe and the U.S. and holds a Ph.D. in computer engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.

Jacques also shares his Market Entry Strategy framework with founders through incubators and accelerators, focusing on disciplined positioning, identifying the right early customers, and matching a company’s value proposition to the market.
